Terms of Service

Section 1. General Provisions

Welcome to the Work Tool platform ("the Platform"). These Terms of Service ("these Terms") constitute an agreement between you ("the User") and Work Tool ("we") regarding your use of the services provided by the Platform.

Please read these Terms carefully and make sure you fully understand them before using the services of the Platform. By registering, logging in or using the services of the Platform, you are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using the services of the Platform immediately.

The formation, execution and interpretation of these Terms and the resolution of any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

Section 2. Service Content

The Platform provides online tool services to users, including but not limited to:

  • Office tools: PDF to Word, PDF merge, Excel to PDF, Word to PDF, etc.;
  • Developer tools: JSON formatter, Base64 encode/decode, Cron expression visualizer, HTML minifier, etc.;
  • Text tools: text diff, word count, case converter, placeholder text generator, etc.;
  • Image tools: image conversion and processing;
  • Other tools or services that we may provide in the future.

We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate part or all of the services at any time based on business needs. In the event of such changes, we will notify you in advance.

Section 3. User Registration and Account Management

  • Users shall provide truthful, accurate and complete registration information, and update it promptly when changes occur;
  • Users shall properly safeguard their account and password. Account security issues arising from personal reasons shall be borne by the user;
  • Users shall not transfer, sell or lend their accounts to others. If any unauthorized use of an account is detected, the user shall notify us immediately;
  • Each user may register only one account, and shall not obtain multiple accounts by any means.

Section 4. User Code of Conduct

When using the services of the Platform, users shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and shall not use the Platform to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Acts that violate the Constitution or laws and regulations;
  • Acts that endanger national security, leak state secrets, subvert state power, or undermine national unity;
  • Acts that infringe upon the reputation, privacy, intellectual property and other lawful rights and interests of others;
  • Publishing or disseminating obscene, pornographic, gambling, violent, homicidal or terrorist content, or content that incites crime;
  • Publishing or disseminating false information that disrupts social order;
  • Using technical means to damage or interfere with the normal operation of the Platform;
  • Scraping large volumes of the Platform’s content or data through crawlers, bots or similar means;
  • Other acts that violate laws, administrative regulations, or public order and good morals.

Section 5. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, images, software, interface design, layout, data, trademarks and logos, is the intellectual property of ours or the relevant rights holders, and is protected by the intellectual property laws of the People’s Republic of China;
  • Without our written consent, users shall not copy, disseminate, republish or modify any content of the Platform in any form, nor shall they perform decompilation, disassembly or other reverse engineering;
  • The content that users process through the Platform’s tools (such as formatted JSON, encoded Base64, minified HTML, etc.) remains the intellectual property of the user.

Section 6. Disclaimer

  • The tool services provided by the Platform are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the timeliness, security or accuracy of the services;
  • We are not liable for service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, policy changes, cyber attacks or system failures);
  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the user’s use of the Platform’s services, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations;
  • The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of such third-party websites or services.

Section 7. Breach of Terms

If a user breaches any provision of these Terms, we may take the following measures depending on the severity of the breach:

  • Issue a warning notice;
  • Restrict or suspend the user’s use of part or all of the service features;
  • Terminate the provision of services to the user and cancel the account;
  • Pursue the user’s legal liability.

If a user’s breach of these Terms causes losses to us, the user shall bear the corresponding liability for compensation.

Section 8. Changes, Interruption and Termination of Services

  • We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate part or all of the services at any time based on business needs;
  • Before any service change or termination, we will notify users in advance through reasonable means;
  • Where the service needs to be suspended due to system maintenance or upgrades, we will announce it in advance;
  • Users have the right to cancel their accounts and stop using the Platform’s services at any time.

Section 9. Dispute Resolution

The formation, execution and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services of the Platform shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before a people’s court with jurisdiction over our location.

Section 10. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected;
  • Our failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right;
  • The headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of any provision;
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms in response to changes in laws and regulations or business development needs. The amended terms will be published on the Platform and take effect from the date of publication.
